Alexander Wang is a designer of Chinese-American heritage, born and raised in San Francisco. He moved to New York City at the age of eighteen to attend Parsons Design School and partake in a variety of internships. Wang launched his eponymous label in 2005 whilst he was still studying, with a predominantly knitwear debut collection with six unisex silhouettes. He completed his first full womenswear collection in S/S 07, before his label then made its runway debut for A/W 07. His collaboration with Adidas debuted in 2019 and featured many noteworthy and unique pieces which made the collaboration one of adidas's best to date
